No. Torii is guided form-preparation software. It helps you prepare your own filing using published government rules, and it is not a substitute for a licensed immigration attorney or accredited representative. When a case needs professional judgment, Torii routes you to one.
Where does the guidance in Torii come from?
Every eligibility check and checklist item is sourced to the official government page it was drawn from — you can open that page yourself at any point. Torii does not assert requirements it can't cite.
Which countries and visa types are supported?
Japan, today — work (技術・人文知識・国際業務), student (留学), short-stay tourist and family visit (短期滞在), dependent (家族滞在), and spouse or child of a Japanese national or permanent resident, for new applications, renewals and changes of status. Torii is built one country at a time so each is genuinely complete before it goes live; more are on the way.
What happens if my case is more complicated than a checklist?
